#WhatsApp has added a new feature to further boost the popular instant messaging app. Now, users will be able to send documents to phones.
Reports say the latest update is available for Android and iPhone users as of now, and users will be able to share documents with individuals as well as in groups they are part of.
For now, only PDF files stored locally can be shared. Support is not available for .xls or .doc file formats yet.
To share a file, users should have version 2.12.453 for Android and 2.12.14 on iOS, click on the attachment icon on Android and select the document option. iOS, users need to click the upload button which will allow them to access the ‘Share Document’ option.
