This is a big shocker and probably the reason why you should give a second thought to this profession. Tyra Banks a University lecturer like…WHAT!. It just speaks one thing; your accomplishments are never enough. The supermodel and business mogul will teach MBA students at Standford University about personal branding.

Tyra Banks is a Supermodel, mogul, and New York Times best-selling author. I mean her accomplishments are just too much. Talk of a boss lady.

In May 2017, Tyra will be a guest University lecturer at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. She will co-teach 25 MBA students how to shape their personal brand. She obviously knows a lot about branding.

News of her foray into education came this weekend and will be the first time that she has lectured at the prestigious institution, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Her first assignment for her students will be “Project You: Building and Extending your Personal Brand,” for which they will be required to “create a short video introducing both themselves and the vision for a brand, according to the official course description”.

The supermodel, who welcomed her  first child in January, revealed that she is going to be a tough taskmaster when it comes to taking to the lectern, stating that her teaching style will be fun but firm: “If I see somebody not paying attention, I’m gonna call on them.”

She also revealed that she wouldn’t encourage the use of phones in class unless it was to “tweet something I’ve said”. Hmmm

“I was mesmerized,” said Ms. Kluger, who teaches courses in leadership and communication. “She’s a natural.” Ms. Kluger and Ms. Banks will spend the next few months planning the details of the course, which will be available for registration on a first come, first served basis.

What an accomplishment. We should all check our bucket lists.
