Just in case you never made your point clear the first time, twitter now lets you retweet yourself.

Twitter announced the narcissistic feature last month, saying in a blog post: “We’ll be enabling the retweet button on your own tweets so you can easily retweet or quote tweet yourself when you want to share a new reflection or feel like a really good one went unnoticed.” But this option was launched on earlier last week.

We all love our own witticisms and sometimes think we are so funny. But over the years twitter has not given us that option to actually bring back those funny and witty tweets. Or even sharing with your followers those spelling errors you must have made in your tweets years back . But it’s all changed now. You could just tap on the retweet button and there u go!

To try it out, head over to your Twitter profile, find something particularly witty or insightful, and press the retweet button like you normally would. When re-sharing one of your old tweets you can opt to retweet it alone or add some commentary.

This update also makes it easier for users to quote-tweet themselves, which allows them to write a tweet with another tweet embedded in it. Thankfully, a user can only retweet themselves once, preventing them from clogging up timelines by repeatedly retweeting the same message.

The social network has also updated the block feature that stops blocked users seeing a person’s tweets, and vice versa, which will be great for those not too pleased about the self-retweet feature.

Previously, if a third person retweeted either user, the other person would be able to see it, but the updated block feature closes that loophole

And that about sums it up. Expect it to become Donald Trump’s new favorite button on the internet!
