made a number of new product announcements at a glitzy event in New York yesterday, but perhaps the most exciting revelation was that the company is finally bringing a pair of “self-lacing” sneakers to market.

The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 senses the presence of the wearer’s heel and tightens its laces accordingly. Senior Innovator Tiffany Beers led the project and says once the shoe is on, the wearer can adjust the fit with two buttons on the side to get things perfect.

The HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available to Nike+ members “beginning Holiday 2016,” according to Nike, and will come in three colors. As of now, the company hasn’t given an indication of price.
