The 2016 MTN boost your brain finale ended up with MTN awarding 25 Million FCFA to five young Cameroonian entrepreneurs. Each of these victorious candidates took home a sum of 5 Million FCFA.

The MTN boost your brain competition, is a platform for young people aspiring for personal development and looking for real opportunities. This program amongst some of MTN’s motivational platforms like MTN Innovation Challenge, also aims at encouraging and celebrating young entrepreneurs and leaders. This program which was initiated a few years ago, was again launched this May 2016. It had hundreds of young leaders and entrepreneurs submitting their projects online to MTN. These projects were later on screened, and the TOP 20 chosen.

This TOP 20 were later on invited to a defending session in front of a jury, and renowned members at the St. Jerome Catholic University Institute Bali-Douala on Saturday June 11, 2016 at 12:00 pm. After presenting their projects before the jury, the TOP five amongst 20 were chosen, and each of them awarded a price of 5 million FCFA. The winners included Jessica Doh and Atem Enow Victor Oben.

Congratulations! To this year’s winners and hope they achieve their dreams while encouraging and setting up standards for other youths. We encourage many  youths to become creative  and strive to be job creators and not seekers. Those who missed out on this year’s edition could prepare and participate during next year’s edition. There are also many different platforms in Cameroon, Africa and the world at large, which help to fund projects of many young entrepreneurs. Some of which include the Tony Elumelu award, the Anzisha Prize, African Entrepreneurship Awards, VC4Africa.
