The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Foundation (LUKMEF) is a non-governmental organization based in the South West Region of Cameroon. Headquartered in the port town of Limbe, LUKMEF was founded in 1999 by the current President & CEO, Mr. Tanyi Christian. LUKMEF is a registered people-focused, non-denominational charity organisation working to promote peace, social, justice and sustainable development in Cameroon since 1999
This accounting software should be able to manage the NGO assets, payroll, multiple projects, multiple donors, capture project outputs, outcomes and impact with the ability to upload pictures. The software should generate individual project reports, consolidated projects reports, annual financial reports. Multiple layer administrative levels of security and multiple signatures to transactions must be handled by the system.
The following steps bellow will guide you to fully comprehend the formalities of this Lukmef Accounting Software Programming Challenge Award.
STEP1: Interested teams should express their interest on or before the 30th of November 2016 latest 4:30pm with the full list, contacts , and ages of their team members and a draft prototype (optional)
STEP2: Members of each team of the Lukmef Accounting Software Programming Challenge Award will be invited to participate in a one-day system analysis in Buea
STEP3: First prototypes with proposed interface and algorithms are submitted on or before the 30th of December 2016.
STEP4: List of pre-selected teams is published in January 2017 and teams invited to defend their programs, get further analysis and Q/A from members of the Civil society.
STEP5: Teams submit their completed projects by the 25th of Feb 2017.
STEP6: AWARD Ceremony at the Pan African Institute for Development in Buea
NB: The winners will then be contacted by LUKMEF for the full implementation of the system.
