A seminar on “Effective online communication for good elections” shall take place on Saturday 10th September 2016 from 9am to 1m at the FakoShip Plaza Hall, Buea Town, Buea. This event is organised by Hansel Media in an effort to sensitise and orientate 20 young social media practitioners and online media personalities in Cameroon.
Hansel Media serves as an online platform that brings people together with the aim of changing their societies. They learn and improve their capacities in leadership.
The goal of this seminar is to discuss various means of packaging and crafting political messages that will enhance young people’s participation in the 2017 local, Parliamentary and Presidential elections and enable youths make informed political choices.
The main objective of this development oriented exercise is to increase political consciousness among Cameroonian youths especially towards the 2017 elections. Also, we need to teach them on the importance of constructive communication during the elections period. This seminar is funded by the Dutch group “Alert Fonds”.
Thanks to Hansel Media for such an initiative as this will enable the youths to have a deep understanding of effective online communication for good elections which will facilitate their participation in the upcoming elections.
