Saturday, April 9, 2016, marks the 3rd anniversary of #Docker and the Docker Meetup Group Buea is inviting everyone to join them in celebrating Docker’s birthday.
Docker is the original author and primary sponsor of the Docker open source project. Together with the community of maintainers and contributors, Docker aims to deliver open tools to help developers build applications with open APIs to help sysadmins better manage these applications.
Docker has a strong community of developers that organizes #meetups in various cities across the world. The developer community of Buea is seeing it’s first Docker Meetup Group with #Check Nyah as it’s the main organizer.
During this event, the Buea Docker Meetup Group will welcome newcomers into the Docker community, they will provide Docker training to show people how they can build, ship, and run a distributed application with ease thanks to the Docker platform.
“We need a network of mentors who understand the Docker platform to answer any questions that newcomers may have.” Said Check Nyah on their event page on meetup.com.
