Camair-Co is about to improve commercial activities in the Western region of Cameroon. They will as of 14th October, commence weekly flights to Bafoussam. This press release follows after the second board meeting held by the new Camair-Co administration.

According to CRTV, these trips will be made on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Within these three days, two flights are expected to be made to Bafoussam.

On Friday, September 30th, 2016, the new management of Camair-Co held their second board meeting at their head office in Bonanjo, Douala. The meeting was chaired by the new president Mefire Oumarou. All flights to Paris were suspended, in order to concentrate on the effective take-off of these new domestic flights.

He used the opportunity to elucidate on one of Camair co’s aircraft held in South Africa due to non-payment. The board chairman confirmed the seizure but said it was as a result of a hasty contract by the previous Camair-Co administration. He said the new administration is taking its time to scrutinize the contract.

Improving our domestic flights is a good thing. Hope this extends very fast to Bamenda as promised.
