Third World Survivors Entertainment has released the visuals for Cameroon’s dance queen, Brenda Dery’s exclusive dance video on Nabil’s “This Is Africa (#TIA)” music video.
Brenda Dery is one of Cameroon’s top choreographers and this high-class video comes ahead of her preparation for this year’s All Africa Music Award (AFRIMA) awards in Lagos, Nigeria where she’s nominated, for the first time, on the “Best Choreographer of the Year” category.
#ThisIsAfricaTIA is a special project by hip hop artist, Nabil which recognizes and appreciates the hustling spirit of the African youth, yet celebrates their eventual victories. “This Is Africa (TIA)” project comprises a music video and a short film, all to be released by the end of 2016.
“I saw this TIA project as an opportunity to not only dance but to also encourage dance among our young people. Dance, to me, is fun but it takes also passion and constantly creative mindset to be the best,” Brenda says.
This short video is therefore, a proof to her incontestable talent and ability to move to our unique Cameroonian rhythm wherever and whenever.
All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, is designed to promote the distinct rich African music worldwide, engaging millions of fans by propelling African music to glorious pinnacles beyond the borders of Africa.
AFRIMA is a combined effort to recognise, award, promote and preserve Africa’s rich music culture. In partnership with the African Union, AU, it is expected to be the biggest music event in Africa.
