Venture Garden Group (VGG) is the largest FinTech investment holding company in Sub-Saharan Africa, with ownership of 10 of the most innovative FinTech companies across Africa. This FinTech investment holding company is organising a cybersecurity hackathon at their office this weekend.

The aim of the event is to locate talent that can represent Nigeria at the Global Cyberlympics taking place from July this year. Global CyberLympics’ goal is to raise awareness towards increased education and ethics in information security through a series of cyber competitions that encompass forensics, ethical hacking and defense. One key initiative for Global CyberLympics is to foster an environment that creates child online protection through education.

The Hackathon will focus on:Digital Forensics,Web Application Exploitation,System Exploitation,Malware Analysis,Reverse Engineering, Cryptography Trivia that all Hackers Should Know.

This meetup will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (WAT) –  Venture Garden Group – 2nd Floor, Ean Hangar Jet Centre, FAAN Transit Camp Road, Murtala Mohammed International Airport,, Ikeja, Lagos 23401, Nigeria.
