There are few women in tech in Africa and globally, with reports blaming education for the imbalance.

Hours after celebrating International Women’s Day, Andela has announced it’s launching a women-only coding class this year targeting women who love tech and programming.

Andela said its first ‘All female’ class is inviting applications from ladies who aspire to become ‘World Class’ developers. The four-year, paid Technical Leadership Program is like a university, but minus paying tuition, students earn a healthy income and benefits and Andela also helps place them into international companies to work for around the globe within 6 months and even start their own Tech companies.

Apply today at http://kenya.andela.com and see if you have what it takes! The application submission deadline is April 8th, 2016.
